PROJECTS

Concord Hospital – Lipman / Aambianz
As part of the facade and metalworks package for Lipman at Concord Hospital, CBS was engaged by Aambianz to deliver 1,050 metres of FutureGuard barrier across five levels of car parking. The barrier scope included perimeter edges behind the facade blades, ramp transitions and split-level drops, with integrated anti-climb mesh panels to meet balustrade and fall protection requirements.
This project utilised our FutureFix no-drill cast-in system, ensuring fast, accurate installation with no risk to post-tensioned slabs. The clean lines and compact profile of the FutureGuard system preserved the architectural intent of the facade and delivered a high-end finish.
Multigate Medical Campus – Orwell Constructions
CBS proudly delivered 1700 linear metres of FutureGuard barrier across the landmark Multigate Medical Campus in Yennora, covering rooftop parking, internal voids, ramps and facade elevations. An additional 60 metres of conventional W-beam barrier was installed to the external driveway.
All FutureGuard barriers were installed using our innovative FutureFix no-drill system, dramatically speeding up installation, protecting post-tensioned slabs and reducing silicosis risks for workers. Careful coordination of cast-ins across multiple pours per level ensured a seamless result for the barrier installation process.
Designed by AJC Architects, this bold and forward-thinking project was shortlisted for the 2024 World Architecture Festival Awards.

Liverpool Hospital – ADCO Constructions
Liverpool Hospital’s new 1250 car space multi-level carpark required a robust and comprehensive barrier package. CBS were engaged by ADCO Constructions to supply and install approx 3200 linear metres of FutureGuard crash barriers onto our innovative FutureFix cast-in no-drill fixing system, including heavy-duty 240kN end-of-ramp barriers.
Mesh screens were installed between internal levels for fall protection, along with an extensive scope of ancillary metalwork including bollards, corner guards, downpipe protectors, speed humps, mirrors, wheelstops and height bars. Linemarking was also completed as part of our package. The result is a durable, compliant and clean architectural outcome, delivered on time to support a critical health infrastructure project in South Western Sydney.
Northern Beaches Council selected FutureGuard for the new two level carpark for commuters to and from Scotland Island. Located at Church Point Parking Area on beautiful Pittwater Rd, the requirement was for an attractive low-profile solution that was able to be integrated into the kerb hob, which also acts as a water retention reservoir.
The council were very happy that all components are hot dip galvanised given their proximity to the saltwater directly in front of the carpark.

Canterbury Leagues Club Project
The very successful Canterbury Leagues Club needed a neat solution for their new underground multi storey carpark expansion. FutureGuard was the economical solution chosen by the architect because it satisfied the aesthetic requirements and only occupied half the footprint of any other system on the market.
The MeshGuard integration ensures maximum light and airflow throughout the carpark areas, improving health and safety for users of the space.
Parkview (Head Contractor) were happy that CBS kept within the programme and engaged our team to complete additional crashrails to the temporary access road as well as further works to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Southpoint Building Brookvale Project
Southpoint Building were happy to reduce the hob on the job in order to maximise the remaining space for parking on the rooftop of their Brookvale project.
The FutureGuard system occupies the narrowest footprint of any system on the market, ensuring maximum available space for parking compliance which is especially critical in small footprint or tight tolerance projects.
FutureGuard provided a very cost effective and architectural solution for the rooftop perimeter, and further edge protection requirements along access ramps.

BP Browns Plains Project
BP are a petroleum giant with sites all around the world. Their site at Browns Plains required full perimeter protection for their elevated new garage. The adaption of FutureGuard to the changing angles of driveway ramps and different areas of the car wash, made for a neat solution for both BP, and the site manager.
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital Carpark – NSW Govt.
The NSW Government has built a magnificent new multi-storey carpark at Hornsby Ku-ring-Gai Hospital.
CBS proudly supplied and installed the complete trade package to the Head Contractor including crashrails, wheelstops, balustrade, bollards, screens and many more items to complete the project. This adds to our impressive list of hospital carparks including John Hunter in Newcastle, Sutherland Hospital, Nepean, Westmead, Wollongong.
