Carpark Barrier Systems (CBS) specialises in project-based metalwork packages for transportation, commercial, and industrial developments. We provide a full range of both standard and custom safety solutions tailored to your project’s design and site requirements.
Since 2009, we have focused on delivering compliant, crash-tested car park safety systems including crash barriers, bollards, wheel stops, and associated metalwork guarding/protection items. With over 60 years of combined experience in engineering and construction, we understand site pressures, program demands, and compliance needs.
We get involved early in the project to coordinate fixing details, avoid clashes with other trades, and ensure barrier ratings and clearances are maintained. Our detailed approach also considers critical dimensions such as driveway widths and hardstand areas affected by barrier placement.
We manage large contracts and are experienced in the use of online project management platforms like Aconex, Procore, ProcurePro, and 1Breadcrumb to help maintain full compliance and document control.
FutureGuard™
FutureGuard™ is our proprietary crash-tested barrier system designed for modern commercial environments. It offers a compact footprint and a clean architectural finish that integrates well with contemporary building designs.
Developed to improve on traditional bulky industrial style barriers, FutureGuard™ is widely specified on Tier 1 and Tier 2 projects across Australia.
The clean design reduces visual impact while meeting stringent safety and compliance requirements.

Our innovative FutureFix™ cast-in fixing method provides immediate edge protection during construction. It eliminates the need for post-fix drilling, protecting post-tensioning ducts and reinforcement, and reducing silicosis risks.

Northern Beaches Council Project
Northern Beaches Council selected FutureGuard for the new 2 level carpark for commuters to and from Scotland Island. Located at Church Point on beautiful Pittwater, the requirement was for an attractive solution that was able to be mounted on the kerb, which also acts as a water retention reservoir.
The council were very happy that all components are hot dip galvanised given their proximity to the saltwater directly in front of the carpark.
Canterbury Leagues Club Project
The very successful Canterbury Leagues Club needed a neat solution for their new underground multi storey carpark expansion. FutureGuard was the economical solution chosen by the architect because it satisfied aesthetically and was half the footprint width of any other system.
Parkview the builder were happy that CBS kept within the programme and assisted with crashrails to the temporary access road as well as additional works near the end of the project.
Southpoint Building Brookvale Project
Southpoint Building were happy to reduce the hob width in order to maximise the remaining space for parking on the rooftop of their Brookvale project. They were able to successfully maintain full compliance with the architectural FutureGuard slim profile system.
The cost effective solution was FutureGuard on the rooftop and down the ramps.
