About Us
How We Got Started
Carpark Barrier Systems commenced in business in 2009 focusing more on the compliance aspect of crashrails in particular. With extensive experience using spring steel legs, we decided there had to be a radical change to the appearance and function of carpark safety.
With over 60 years experience in both Engineering and Construction we are able to cater for the rigorous demands of modern commercial building works.
FutureGuard™
We needed a proprietary product that looked a lot better, had a much smaller footprint and was competitive in price! Future Guard™ was designed, developed, and crash tested and has been incorporated into many fine projects already.
We supply and install all types of crash-rails, wheel stops, balustrade, bollards and all of the metalwork packages associated with car parks.
Our Projects
Carpark Barrier Systems guardrail systems are crashtested and fully certified.
We are innovative; including a new “Futurefix” cast into the concrete fixing method which means the builder has instant edge protection and we can achieve very rapid installation.
Northern Beaches Council Project
Northern Beaches Council selected FutureGuard for the new 2 level carpark for commuters to and from Scotland Island. Located at Church Point on beautiful Pittwater, the requirement was for an attractive solution that was able to be mounted on the kerb, which also acts as a water retention reservoir.
The council were very happy that all components are hot dip galvanised given their proximity to the saltwater directly in front of the carpark.
Canterbury Leagues Club Project
The very successful Canterbury Leagues Club needed a neat solution for their new underground multi storey carpark expansion. FutureGuard was the economical solution chosen by the architect because it satisfied aesthetically and was half the footprint of any other system.
Parkview the builder were happy that CBS kept within the programme and assisted with crashrails to the temporary access road as well as additional works near the end of the project.
Southpoint Building Brookvale Project
Southpoint Building were happy to reduce the hob on the job in order to maximise the remaining space
for parking on the rooftop of their Brookvale project. The cost effective solution was FutureGuard on the rooftop and down the ramp
